The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian Nation in the United States, with more than 240,000 tribal members and over 13,000 associates. Its historic reservation encompasses nearly 11,000 square miles in southeastern Oklahoma, and its oral tradition reaches back more than 13,000 years.
Guided by the vision of “Living out the Chahta Spirit of faith, family and culture,” the Choctaw Nation continues a long and proud tradition of military service. That commitment makes this partnership a natural extension of the Museum’s mission to share stories of courage, character, and service to others.
