EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS

The Museum offers students an engaging, hands-on experience that enhances civics, character development, and social-emotional learning with interactive exhibits, engaging Museum guides, educational materials, and more.

The NMOHM field trip program will enable all Texas students to attend the museum at a discounted cost. The Texas Youth Field trip program will be made possible by the generous support of the Texas Lottery

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Most group visits last about 2 to 3 hours, depending on whether you choose a self-guided or docent-led tour. However, groups are welcome to explore at their own pace.

Yes – we offer spaces to dine whether that’s a boxed lunch purchased through the Museum or a sacked lunch brought from home (field trips only). Please let us know in advance if you have questions—we’re happy to accommodate!

The Museum is fully accessible to guests of all abilities. We offer wheelchair access, and other accommodations to ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience for everyone. Let us know if your group has any specific needs.
