— 10:30am | I Am Teddy Roosevelt storytime and draw-along
— 1:00 pm | I Am Abraham Lincoln storytime and draw-along by Arlington Public Library
Each session gives young visitors a creative way to connect with an American story—and maybe inspire them to submit work to the National I Am America Writing & Art Contest.

Performing as Theodore Roosevelt, Joe Wiegand will share stories from T.R.'s lifetime.
From battling asthma and taking boxing lessons as a young boy, to battling the special interests as President of the United States, Joe brings Theodore Roosevelt to life with energy, intelligence and wit, reminiscent of the original.

The inspiring force behind Fall Family Day, the I Am America exhibit pairs Medal of Honor Recipients with illustrated figures from the bestselling Ordinary People Change the World series, created by author Brad Meltzer and illustrator Christopher Eliopoulos.
Through bold artwork, approachable storytelling, and thought-provoking questions, the exhibit gives grandparents, parents, educators, and young people a shared language to talk about—and live out—courage, character, and service.

Enhance your visit with access to the full Museum.
