STEP INTO THE STORIES

Museum Exhibit Deck | Reserve Your Tickets Here

Before they were Medal of Honor Recipients, they were people—students, neighbors, parents, and friends.

Inside the Museum, visitors can hear Recipients share their stories in their own words, explore immersive exhibits that bring you closer to the moments they faced, and encounter artifacts that connect directly to their experiences.

This is not just a place to learn what happened—but to understand the choices behind it, and the impact those stories still carry today.

ADD A NAME TO THE FIELD OF FLAGS

Museum Lawn | Free to the Public

Across the Museum grounds, hundreds of flags stand in quiet formation—each representing a life given in service.

Visitors are invited to take part by adding a name in memory of someone they wish to honor, placing it among the flags, and contributing to a shared space of remembrance.

Whether you come with someone in mind or take a moment to reflect while you’re here, the Field of Flags becomes a place shaped by personal connection and collective memory.

PAUSE AT THE FALLEN COMRADE TABLE

First Floor of the Museum | Free to the Public

Inside the Museum, the Fallen Comrade Table offers a quiet moment to reflect on those who are missing and those who never returned.

Also known as the “Missing Man Table,” this tradition uses a simple setting—each element placed with intention—to symbolize absence, sacrifice, and remembrance. From the single rose to the empty place at the table, each detail invites visitors to consider the lives behind the loss.

It’s a space not just to observe, but to pause—and take in what each element represents.

Make Memorial Day a Weekend to Remember

From Friday through Monday, the Museum becomes a place to share time, memories, and moments with loved ones.  Walk the grounds. Return with someone new. Spend time with the stories that stay with you long after you leave.
