Request for Qualifications Construction Manager at Risk

The Medal of Honor Museum Foundation is tasked with creating the National Medal of Honor Museum on a 5 acre site in Arlington, Texas. Irvine Team is engaged as the Project Director for the project and is responsible for managing the selection process for a Construction Manager. Rafael Viñoly Architects has developed a design concept for the approximately $100M building and is presently initiating schematic design of the project. The Foundation is seeking a well-qualified Construction Manager to join the project team, and will begin the selection process on 28 September 2020 by issuing a Request for Qualification (RFQ) to interested Construction Managers.

Interested Construction Managers will be required to respond to the RFQ and if selected as a shortlisted finalist, submit a proposal for the project based upon a Request for Proposal that will be issued on 2 November 2020. Selection of a Construction Manager is anticipated to be made in January 2021. Construction is currently planned to start in the 4th Quarter of 2021 and be completed in time for a planned opening of the Museum in March 2024.

Interested Construction Managers are not required to be local to Arlington, Texas however will be required to demonstrate a proven capability to perform work in that market. Construction Managers who desire to pursue the project as part of a team will be required to respond to the RFQ as part of that team. This solicitation is limited to Construction Managers only. No subcontractors or limited capability specialty contractors or vendors will be evaluated.

Please include NMOHM CMAR RFQ in the subject line. The RFQ will be provided only to Construction Managers who have registered. RFQ responses will be due on or before 16 October 2020.
