about our organization

The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation is a 501(c)(3) educational institution DEDICATED TO preserving and expanding the impact of the 3,511 Medal of Honor recipients.

Through education, leadership, and inspiring spaces for learning and reflection, we recognize the values and ideals of this prestigious award: Courage, Sacrifice, Commitment, Integrity, Citizenship, Patriotism

These values were not born in battle but brought to it.  They can be found and developed in each of us. Our mission as an organization is to harness the stories, lives, and impact of Medal of Honor recipients and inspire America to its true character and leadership potential—one hero at a time.

And we’re looking for someone like you!
