“An Epic of Courage”: Jay Zeamer and Joseph Sarnoski

Pilot Jay Zeamer and bombardier Joseph Sarnoski served together in the 43rd Bomb Group in WWII. Friends before the war, they were reunited in the SW Pacific in 1942 and each received the Medal of Honor for a photo-mapping mission of Bougainville Island on June 16, 1943
