In addition to supporting Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, the future development will also complement the proposed National Medal of Honor Museum, which is slated to be built on waterfront property next to the where the USS Yorktown is moored. Museum officials are currently raising money and plan to break ground by 2020.
