On Thursday, May 3 at 7 p.m., Patriots Point, the Town of Mount Pleasant and Mt. Pleasant-based plaintiffs’ law firm Motley Rice LLC will host a ceremony to officially open the exhibit to the public. Joe Daniels, Chief executive officer of the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation, will be the keynote speaker. Before taking the helm at the Foundation, Daniels spent 11 years directing the planning, construction, development and operations for the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City. Representatives from Motley Rice will also speak during the opening ceremony. The firm’s anti-terrorism litigation team represents families and survivors of 9/11.
