The National Medal of Honor Museum has announced the first in a series of community stakeholder meetings. The meetings are an open invitation for the Mt. Pleasant community to get involved and discuss the design, education and programming plans for the National Medal of Honor Museum.
The first Stakeholder Meeting will take place Wednesday, June 27 at 6:30pm at the USS Yorktown Theater located at 40 Patriots Point Rd., Mount Pleasant, S.C. 29464. Attendance can be confirmed by emailing events@mohmuseum.org or calling 843-654-9469.
This community discussion will include National Medal of Honor Museum CEO Joe Daniels and Architect Moshe Safdie, and will be facilitated by David McNair of the McNair Group.
The stakeholder meetings are taking place ahead of the redesign of the museum to allow everyone who is passionate about the Mt. Pleasant and Charleston greater communities as well as the mission of the National Medal of Honor Museum which includes the commemoration the stories of Medal of Honor recipients, uniting Americans around what it means to be patriotic, and inspiring everyone to find the hero within themselves.
